CHOIR
When We Meet:
HS Choir meets during 10th hr. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternating Fridays.
JH Choir meets during 9th hr. Sopranos/Altos meet on Tuesdays. Tenors/Basses meet on Thursdays.

All choir students are encouraged to participate in IMEA, a state-wide music organization (see IMEA page for details), IHSA solo & ensemble contest, and the annual school play/musical. These are not required events, but provide incredible opportunities for students to connect with other musicians around the district and state.

A group of junior high singers thanks DonorsChoose.org for donating music books to help grow our choral library.
The organization DonorsChoose.org recently donated 9 new music books to the Dieterich choirs. The books are intended to be used by junior high and high school chorus students. Through this generous donation, our students will now have music appropriate for:

1. College auditions
2. Solo & Ensemble Contest
3. Small group learning
4. Recitals and variety shows
