November 18, 2017 District 5 Festival at Eastern Illinois University (Charleston)
January 24-27, 2018 All-State Chorus/Band and Honors Chorus/Band (Peoria)
*You must be able to attend these 3 dates if you choose to audition.*

What is ILMEA?
ILMEA is a state-wide music organization. Students participate in auditions by region. The top students in each ensemble are chosen to perform in the District 5 Festival. From each district (9 total), the top 5 students are chosen to advance to the State Festival. Past State Festival musicians have gone on to become professional musicians, college scholarship recipients, and music teachers.

COST: Auditions cost $8/student. Festivals cost a variable fee ($12-15/student). Auditionees are required to pay the $8 audition fee. If selected to represent Dieterich at the District 5 Festival, Dieterich Chorus will cover the cost.
